HOW IT ALL STARTED

It was 2016 and I had just finished 10th grade. I went to Vyasanagar, Jajpur K road for higher studies and made seven close friends - Aman, Malay, Tanmay, Sachin, Shubham, Jagga and Jeeban. We all shared a love for travel, but unfortunately, I couldn't join my friends on a mid-year trip to Nandankanan, Bhubaneswar. They had a good trip but it was tiring, which set the stage for a trip the following year.

PLANNING BEGINS

We planned our next trip throughout the year, saving up our pocket money and researching different destinations. Our final exams were coming up and it was tough to convince our parents, causing some of our friends to drop out. But the five of us - Aman, Malay, Tanmay, Sachin, and I - were determined to make the trip happen. We were trying to decide between Kandadhar waterfall and Puri, but couldn't make a decision. We made a plan to lie to our parents and say we were staying at each other's houses for a birthday, but Sachin accidentally gave two different stories to his father. At 10pm, we received a call and spent the night discussing the trip, but still couldn't decide.

JOURNEY BEGINS

On 18th September 2017, we woke up late and missed two buses to Khandadhar waterfall. We were waiting for a train to Puri when a bus to Bhubaneswar came along, so we took it without hesitation. On the bus, we had a lot of fun, but suddenly Malay's dad called and asked him to get fruits for a puja. Malay was afraid, but we managed to get the fruits before the puja. A boy near Malay's house overheard our plans and headed to Malay's home.

We arrived in Puri and the beach was not crowded, but then Malay's dad called again and said he would meet him at the station square in 30 minutes. We had to get back to the station square from Puri beach in 30 minutes, but Malay's dad said he could come back by 9pm to attend a marriage party. This led to even more fun and adventures as we continued our trip.

Here started the actual fun as we planned that Malay will enjoy only few moments with us and went back before us to home. It was 12.30 already and on a straight we headed to the beach.

What after that, wait suspense is still there. To know more you have to wait for the part 2 of this story. Stay connected .... Do travel.....Wear masks....Enjoy.
