My travel story chapter-1. How we lied our families for our first trip....! part-2

Before diving into this post, I kindly request that if you haven't yet read Part 1, to take a moment to do so. This will provide a foundation for the information presented in this installment. Thank you!

GAME ON WITH WAVES

As we reached the beach, we were ready for a fun-filled day. We had planned for Malay to join us for a couple of hours before heading back home. Little did we know that we were in for a wild ride.We entered the beach with swag, trying to impress the girls around with our hero-like entry. But as soon as we got closer to the sea, we were blown away by its beauty. The waves were perfect for some water sports, and we couldn't resist the temptation. We quickly changed into our swimwear and got into the water.

With our old phones, we took some hilarious photos of ourselves pretending to be top models. But the real fun started when we got into the waves. We played, swam, and even had a game where we went deep into the sea and tried to come back as quickly as possible.

As we were having the time of our lives, we suddenly remembered about Malay and he was already late for his return journey. But we were not done yet, so we continued to enjoy the waves. Unfortunately, a big wave hit us and we got hurt. But even then, our spirits were high, and we freshened up and sat near a small shop.

NEW PROBLEMS ARRIVED

But problems not ended here. Sachin was in pain and Tanmay wasn't looking well. When we asked Tanmay what was wrong, he told us that he had lost his holy thread on the beach and couldn't eat anything without wearing it. To make matters worse, he had already told his mom, who had strictly forbidden him from eating. We didn't want our friend to be hungry, so we tried to keep it a secret from everyone.

Just as we were discussing Tanmay's situation, someone told Sachin that he had been infected by a starfish and was going to die from the poison. We were all shocked and quickly checked the spot where he was feeling the pain. It turned out that it was just friction from the sand. We made him realize this and started our journey back home.

RETURN JOURNEY

We decided to take a local auto rickshaw to the Puri railway station, thinking that the passenger train from Puri would be the most economical and quickest option. But when we arrived, we were told that there was no train that day. Sachin had been so confident that there was a train, but he was wrong. The person at the counter got angry with Sachin for arguing with him. So, we went to the bus stop and found a bus to Bhubaneswar. We were all exhausted and fell asleep on the bus. The journey took longer than expected because of the traffic jam in the twin city. From Bhubaneswar, we found a bus to Keonjhar that would go through Jajpur.

Our parents started calling us as it was getting late and we still hadn't reached home. The bus conductor said we would arrive at 11:30 pm, but we wouldn't be able to go home that night. We decided to stay at Sachin's house near the highway to Jajpur. We had to convince our parents and told them a lie about the bus breaking down on the way. Malay also got stuck in traffic and was running late. We were all worried, but eventually, everything worked out and we reached Sachin's place by 10 pm. Sachin's grandma made us a delicious dinner of paratha with potato fry, and we even told Tanmay's mom that he had eaten with us. The next day, we went home and sorted everything out.

WHEN WE LOOK BACK

Our journey was filled with twists and turns, and maybe a few mistakes, but that's all part of the fun. Looking back, we realize just how much of a memorable story we have to share with others. We made sure to make things right by telling our parents the whole truth. To our surprise, they were surprisingly understanding. If only we had shared our plans with them from the start, our trip could have been even better. But what really mattered was our unyielding spirit and thirst for adventure.

So, fellow travel enthusiasts, don't forget to share your thoughts on our escapade on our Facebook page. I'll be back with another exciting travel blog, another tale to tell. Until then, stay safe and keep the adventures coming!
